About

Located in the heart of Alabama’s capital, our team at Alabama Research and Consulting, LLC has a passion for the state, its people, and their rich traditions and culture. Our founders, Evan Moore and David Hughes, are professional social scientists with areas of expertise in economics, statistics, data science, and public/government affairs. From project design to execution, we enjoy working with our clients to help them address their most pressing needs using sound research and scientific methods. Every dataset tells a story, and we love helping our clients tell theirs.

Our Story

As university professors, our founders used their scientific skills to teach future leaders and to address economic and other social scientific puzzles using cutting edge research, computational, and other statistical methodologies. Now they use those skills to help professionals solve their own puzzles. Whether you are looking to assess your firm or industry’s performance in a given area, measure the public’s evaluation of some social phenomenon, evaluate the economic impacts of an operation, or understand the efficacy of policies or programs, our team has the skills and experience to address your research and data needs.
